The reason for this is that we want people who are truly dedicated to the cause, and sending an e-mail takes very little time.

After you're application is accepted, you will receive a second e-mail (or possibly a phone call) from an executive congratulating you and giving you details on the benefits of membership.

Remember, if you take this application seriously and you live in the greater Berkeley area, there is a VERY SMALL chance you will be denied. Reasons for denial include: failure to fill out form completely or an unresponsive e-mail.
