Position Paper: Voting Age
NYRA Berkeley SUPPORTS a voting age of 16 on the federal level,
state level and local level.
NYRA Berkeley also SUPPORTS any attempt to enfranchises youth,
youth being defined as anybody under the age of majority at the
present moment.
NYRA Berkeley OPPOSES any attempt to raise the voting age and/or
disenfranchise any group of people.
Position Paper: Age Discrimination
NYRA Berkeley SUPPORTS any attempt to end legal or illegal age
discrimination, age discrimination being defined as any form of
discrimination based solely on age.
NYRA Berkeley OPPOSES any establishment that supports age
discrimination.
